Food HygieneFood safety is essentially the discipline of handling, preparing and storing food in ways that will prevent foodborne illness. Many don’t appreciate how easily food can transmit disease from person to person, serving as a vessel for bacteria which can cause illness or even death. Food poisoning is 100% preventable as long as the correct, simple procedures are adhered to.

This course is designed to help you understand the dangers of improper food hygiene, and explain the correct methods for preventing food poisoning and the spreading of bacteria.

Course duration: 30 minutes
